TEGO^® Antifoam D 2300 XP and TEGO^® Antifoam D 2310 XP – Extremely efficient deaerators for destroying micro- and macrofoam

Degussa’s business line Goldschmidt Industrial Specialties has introduced two new deaerators for water based polymer dispersions for pressure sensitive adhesive applications.

To remove microfoam an efficient deaerator needs soever to be a good defoamer. Both new products show this combined property profile. Therefore producer of polymer dispersions could benefit from an excellent reduction of micro- and macrofoam in high speed processes, e.g. for the production of labels and tapes.

TEGO^® Antifoam D 2300 XP is highly recommended for the application in sensitive adhesive systems, whereas D 2310 XP is the best choice for very strong foaming adhesive dispersions.

Both products are listed on the chemical inventories of Europe (EINECS), U.S.A. (TSCA), Canada (DSL), Japan (ENCS), Australia (AICS), Korea (ECL), Philippines (PICCS) and the People’s Republic of China.

Beside these new products the additive range offers a bunch of interesting solutions to the polymer dispersions industry. The additives contribute to the production and application of polymer dispersions.
