SITREN^® MR 870 – More than just another biodegradable concrete release agent

Degussa’s business line Goldschmidt Industrial Specialties introduces its new premium concrete mould release agent: In order to achieve a high quality surface on precasted concrete products high performance mould release agents need to be applied. SITREN^® MR 870 is specially designed to yield an optimum surface finish of precast concrete.

SITREN^® MR 870 is an emulsion concentrate for the formulation of mould release agents for precast concrete as well as for on site applications. It is suitable for moulds made from steel, wood and most synthetic materials and can be used for white and colored concrete.

It goes without saying that SITREN^® MR 870 fulfils or even exceeds the standard requirements for nontoxic and biodegradable release agents including easy dilution and handling. Furthermore, SITREN^® MR 870 sets new standards and provides a whole bunch of additional benefits:

Yields an excellent surface finish (smooth surface).

Prevents formation of air pores (pin holes) on concrete surface.

No discoloration of concrete.

Suitable for moulds made from steel, wood and most synthetic materials.

Results in reduced dust build-up on moulds and hence leads to a cleaner surface and less cleaning cycles.

Dilutions of SITREN^® MR 870 exhibit excellent storage stability.
