TEGO® Antifoam 2290 – a new silicon-free antifoam for polymer dispersions
02/07/2007
Degussa’s business line Goldschmidt Industrial Specialties has introduced an antifoam that contains no silicon based chemistry.
Due to the special selection of its active ingredients, TEGO Antifoam 2290 exhibits both excellent compatibility and antifoaming performance.
TEGO Antifoam 2290 is designed for the production and formulation of polymer dispersions (e.g. SBR-latex, acrylics).
TEGO® Antifoam 2290 can be used in compliance with BfR XIV and FDA-Regulation 21CFR 176.210, 175. 105 and is listed on the chemical inventories of Europe (EINECS), U.S.A. (TSCA), Canada (DSL), Japan (ENCS), Australia (AICS), Korea (ECL), Philippines (PICCS) and the People’s Republic of China.
In addition to TEGO Antifoam 2290, the many other additives in our range offer a variety of interesting and practical solutions to the numerous problems encountered in the production and use of polymer dispersions.
